Chef Steph is dedicated to sharing Indigenous culture through her culinary creations and educational initiatives. She played a pivotal role in creating and developing the Rooted Indigenous Food Program at Simon Fraser University, which received a Gold Award in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and won the Grand Prize at the NACUFS Sustainability Awards for promoting sustainability in campus dining. Chef Steph has been named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network for her influence on Indigenous cuisine for 2024.
